Course Objectives:

This course covers the fundamental operations of backing up any size environment using the Asigra Cloud Backup™ components. This course will primarily focus on the configuration and use of the Agentless DS-Client. Learners will be exposed to Windows, Linux and Macintosh environments (physical / virtual). Proper administration and troubleshooting concepts are taught with best-practices to avoid any long-term issues. In addition, learners are shown how to assess the value of their data and how to best maximize the costs of protecting it.

At the end of this training, learners will be able to:

1. Install the DS-Client.
2. Optimally configure the DS-Client for best performance.
3. Create specific Backup Sets for file systems or databases.
4. Perform Backup and Restore processes for Basic Backup Sets
5. Configure Schedules and Retention Rules.
6. Produce LAN Discovery Reports.
