This course teaches the fundamental operations of using Asigra Cloud Backup in a Data Centre environment. The DS-License Server, the DS-System and the DS-Billing are the core components that are examined. The DS-Billing content is primarily focused on configuration practices that could make deployment simpler in the long term. Learners are expected to participate actively as there are many lab exercises that will expose common pitfalls that can be avoided when working in a production environment.

You will be taught how to manage and configure the various components of the Asigra Televaulting solution. Delegates will work in pairs, each with a work station, one configured as a vault and the other as the remote site (with virtual machines simulating a LAN), connected together across a network.

Windows or Linux System Administrators, System Engineers, Network Administrators, System Integration or Development Staff and Technical Support Personnel.

Pre-Requisites

• Asigra Service Provider Agreement must be signed and delivered, if applicable.
• Experience with Operating Systems: Windows / Linux / Mac.
• Knowledge in the following areas: LAN, Storage (DAS, NAS, SAN), Databases (MS SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Certifications (MSCE, CCNA, etc) or equivalent knowledge / experience.
