Leading law firm Kennedys has doubled in size in the last four years, and boasts offices in numerous locations across the UK, as well as in Spain, United Arab Emirates, Hong Kong, Sydney, Singapore, and New Zealand. In July 2008 the firm amalgamated its three London offices into a single new location in London, close to many of its UK clients. This date was the culmination of a threeyear project to entirely revamp the firm’s IT infrastructure – including the implementation of new storage services intended to provide comprehensive backup and disaster recovery (DR).

Logica Asia is the regional office of Logica based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to coordinate and monitor the services delivered throughout Asia. Its IT department operates several Microsoft Windows Server, Microsoft SQL Server, and Microsoft Exchange Server systems to serve regional information processing needs and to bridge local customer support to the company’s Asia headquarters and primary data center in Malaysia. A ‘real-time’ business environment such as CBRE places great demands on the company’s IT infrastructure and administrators.
