Combined with EdgeMarc devices and EdgeConnect switches, the EdgeView VoIP Support System allows service providers and enterprises to deliver the best possible support at the lowest cost. The EdgeView system scales with the Service Provider or Enterprise and is available in a redundant, high availability carrier-grade form factor. Additionally, EdgeView enables the Plug & Dial capabilities allowing to simplify and shorten the IP phone configuration process from hours to minutes.
Overview
EdgeView provides remote monitoring, configuration, and troubleshooting for customer premises equipment or branch office equipment including EdgeMarc, EdgeConnect, EdgeProtect series and many IP phones. Key features include : Plug & Dial, software image management, group upgrades, configuration backup and restore, active call count monitoring, call quality statistics including MOS, jitter, latency, packet loss and much more, trend analysis and utilization statistics.
Delivered in an appliance form factor EdgeView is typically installed in the operations center and console access is provided through a browser-based GUI. The system supports multiple, authenticated user accounts with administrator defined access privileges. It can be used as a stand-alone management system or as a complement to other network management systems.
